Richard M. Chamberlain's Profile Image

Richard Chamberlain is the founder and managing attorney of Legacy Law Group. He is admitted to practice law in both Ohio and Michigan.

As an attorney, Richard’s passion is helping his clients make the best possible choices for themselves and their loved ones. He understands that everyone has different planning needs and goals, and everyone has their own unique family and financial situations. When he’s working with his clients, he wants them to have a solid understanding of the issues involved in making an effective estate plan. He spends a lot of time teaching his clients the things they need to know to make their plan meet their planning needs and goals. In his educational seminars and in his consultations with his clients, he teaches the fundamental issues involved so that they can understand and determine not only what type of plan to use, but also why it’s the best plan for them.

Richard’s first book, Protecting your Family’s Future – All about Wills, Trusts & Probate, was published in September of 2020. You can get a free copy of the book here.

After working at different law firms in Florida, North Carolina and Ohio, Richard founded the Legacy Law Group in 2007 and focuses primarily on serving clients in estate planning and estate administration matters.

Richard is a member of WealthCounsel, a cooperative alliance of estate and elder planning attorneys from across the country. He stays active in our community as a member of The Toledo Estate and Financial Planning Council.

Richard and his wife Kelly have been married for over 30 years and they have 4 daughters and 1 granddaughter (so far). They enjoy spending time together going to the lake, swimming, hanging out with their dogs, watching movies, and traveling.
