We realize that you are getting lots and lots of updates from businesses you deal with regarding the COVID-19 crisis and how things are being handled. We certainly don’t want to unnecessarily add ourselves to that list of updates, but we do feel that it’s essential that you hear from us.

As you may now know, the State of Ohio has put in place a Stay at Home order effective today, Monday, March 23rd at 11:59 p.m. Although our business is on the list of essential services that may remain open, we have made the difficult decision to close our office to all non-essential outside visitors. The health and well-being of our staff and you, our valued clients, is most important.

Effective immediately, our office will be open for our essential employees only. We believe this is the best decision to ensure the health and safety of our staff and all our valued clients. We will still be working, of course, but for the most part we will be working remotely.

Here are some things you need to know:

• If you need to reach us, you can still call our office (419-872-7670). Our phones are being forwarded and will still be answered during our normal business hours. We are all still receiving email as well.
• If you have a meeting scheduled with one of our attorneys, then you will be contacted directly about setting up the meeting as a video conference (or a phone conference if you prefer).
• If your meeting requires the review and signature of documents, then we will do that in 2 parts. First, we will email you drafts of the documents and review them with you by video conference. Second, we will set up a time to meet with you for a quick signing. Those signings will be “drive through” signings where we meet you in our parking lot and give you the documents to sign in your car. We will then notarize and witness the documents as needed, make copies and give them back to you.
